WCA Needs Your Help

This is a call to get more involved in your industry. I talked to a couple of members of the Wisconsin Coalition of Appraisers and they informed me that Chad Svendsen has stepped down as the president of the WCA, as have many other officers. They are in need of new officers to keep the organization functioning. If you are interested contact Chad at 262 930-9970. Also join the linkedin group “ Wisconsin Coalition of Appraisers” and lets get some conversations started on how we can change the profession to make it financially feasible to continue. We lost 13% of the licensed appraisers this license cycle. There are only 217 licensed appraisers and most of those are the ones who unable to meet the requirements when new license rules changed. 38% of appraisers in the state are Certified General, 50% are Certified Residential, and 12% are licensed. Our industry is founded on measuring change. Let’s create a resolution for the new year to create change.

Is anyone interested in setting up an appraiser lunch before Valentines Day? If we can get 6 yeses I will schedule one. Reply to all and let me know.

Here are some good links to 10 articles and videos I found on the internet. Take some time to read and listen to them. They are informative and interesting.
